Oracle/AIX is our client. I created a database link within the Oracle instance that points to the Oracle listener for the TD gateway. I
then created views within Oracle that point to Teradata tables via the database link. The Oracle precompiler on AIX sees my Teradata tables
as normal Oracle views. Teradata is transparent to the Oracle client.

Does anyone have experience using Oracle/AIX as the client? i.e. going from Oracle to TD to get data? There's an Oracle project going
on here that has it going to TD to get the detail? It's been recommended to us to purchase NCR's ODBC driver for AIX. Anyone using it?
