FWIW: From my notes, the 3668 message was added with V2R4. Here's the error message: --------------------------------------------------------- Explanation: The database Resolver has found an internal identity for a named table in Dictionary table DBC.TVM and a subsequent effort to access the table header to complete compilation of the query has found no table with that identity. Remedy: If the table was being deleted by another session, a retry should indicate that the table is not present. If this error persists
on retry, there is an entry in DBC.TVM that does not represent an existing table. The most likely reason would be an uncompleted RESTORE
operation. I wonder if you can RESTORE the table (if a good copy of it was archived). If that won't (or can't) work, then you'll have to contact NCR to clean-up your dictionary tables. Hmmmm. If you can't DROP the table, maybe you can re-name it? If so, then you could go ahead with your work and take care of the clean- up when it's convenient for you.
