Frank,
We are using SAS/Access at Ford for the gang to run queries and it seems to work pretty well, remembering, that it is an ODBC connection
which rules out using it to do bulk transfers of data (Fast export and FTP are faster for volume, of course).
I believe the CLI version of SAS/Access is due out in July, which may speed things up a bit. SAS has plans for integrating our load
utilities (fastload and fastexport) into their scripting language sometime next year (hence the intermediate switch to CLI).
