Subj: | | Session Reporting on Teradata V2R4 |
|
From: | | Tony Howe |
Hi everyone, I'm a first time user of this forum and here's my question. We have been a Teradata user since 1990, but with only
mainframe/MVS access. Now we have installed a NCR 5250 with an UNIX application Server accessing the Teradata Server via it's own private
LAN. I need a way to report on the sessions that run on the 5250. Basically some way of showing how long a query ran. (elapsed time and
CPU time) For the other Teradata system we have, NCR 4700, which is only access mostly via mainframe, I use SMF records to report on the
jobs that run against it. What's the best way to report on LAN activity??
Thanks, Tony.
