Hi Karen:

The reason you are experiencing this situation is based on the size of the column used to store the VIEW/MACRO in the Data Dictionary table (TVM - think). I don't have access to a TD system right now, so I cannot verify that TVM is the correct table. Plus, I do not think it is TVFIELDS. If you do a HELP TABLE you can probably find it.

Anyway, the column gets larger with various releases of TD as the allowable column size increases. Currently, the largest columnn size is 64,000 bytes.
