Do you have a specific reason for using AccessLog?
Assuming that you don't and that all you want is the number of requests issued by a user, you could try using Account String Expansion
(ASE). One of the variables available is (I think) &I which will give you one row per amp per request from each user. To achieve a simple
count of requests then becomes a count of rows in dbc.ampusage divided by the number of amps. Like access logging, using this feature will
add to the number of rows in dbc.ampusage and you will need to housekeep the table.
