Have you tried removing/correcting the incorrect IP address? I think you'll find that when you logon through the odbc driver, it picks
one of the i/p addresses at random, so every now and then you'll get a slow response as the network software tries to find the incorrect i/p
address. Whatever the answer, I'm not certain it has anything to do with BO (try the same with Queryman?) or possibly even with odbc -
you'd certainly get a slow logon with a wincli application in this situation.
