Further to this, I've been speaking to Lee Brown (on whose behalf Dave Sedgwick posted the problem), and apparently one of the tables
involved in this is very wide - about 240 fields. We know the limit is 256 fields, but has anyone come across problems of any
sort/considerations to be made when you're working with very wide tables? I've had a look on the NCR portal and in the Brian Marshall books
but can't find much. One would assume that if Teradata can support 256 fields then it should work up to that limit, but if anyone knows
different...
Thanks in advance for any thoughts,
Julie Sorrell
