To be honest, we didn't test the time-of-day (or usage) milestone feature of the Priority Scheduler Facility (PSF). We did consider the
option, but once we realized that we could dynamically change the entire PSF configuration using a simple UNIX script, we didn't investigate
it further. Using the milestone feature of PSF limits you to only changing an allocation group associated with a performance group. Using
UNIX scripts, we could re-weight the resource partitions, which was useful. And, again, it gave us a lot more flexibility in determining
when the PSF configuration should change. IN our production environments, having the change be event dependent has been invaluable.
