Hi,

NCR have done this sort of thing before for a customer

e.g. use the dictionary on the source system to generate the SQL statements for the create Databases, Users, Views and grants for the new system and then run those against the new system where we were migrating

Within this process we also coded a process to extract from the source system and apply to the new system the users current passwords and also the historic passwords (this process needed to run under DBC and diagnostic convert)

This was a paid consultancy engagement by the customer.
