We have an installation of Teradata RDBMS V2R3.0.3.

When we execute the RELEASE MLOAD commnad on any table that is being queried through a view that has the LOCKING TABLE FOR ACCESS option set, the only way to recover access to the table is by aborting one of the two session involved, otherwise both sessions remain blocked. This behavior did not take place on V2R2.

Has anybody seen this kind of situation?

Is there any solution to this blocking problem?
