GQL is very good for fairly simple queries but was dependent at time of last use on the user to be able to ensure that the SQL was written properly and efficiently by clicking on table attributes and where clause constraints outside of the join plan which the administrator chooses. The Pro side is that it is very simple to set up and requires little administration. Business Objects can help support more complex query reporting requirements but is substantially more complex and resource intensive for the administrator. The Pro is supports more complex queries and minimizes end user involvement. Thanks, Eric EJK
