Julie,

I understand your reluctance to tamper with sysytem tables - not a good idea!

Have you tried using the BUILD TABLES command (I think that's the correct name) in the ARCMAIN/ASF2 utility? Given that your original problem was a failed/aborted restore, you might want to try that. I'm sure I've seen this used before to clear up from a failed restore. It will probably leave you with empty tables, but at least you can DROP them for real (...and then carry on with life?)
