Bharat,
Probably the best way to look at both Wincli and ODBC is that when you are designing a specialized interface for Teradata, you will want
to use Wincli because there you can manipulate the data parcels programmatically yourself whereas with ODBC, you will be forced to adhere to
the conventions of ODBC (and there are little annoyances there like date formats that are returned one way where you cannot easily
manipulate them).
