I think the highlighted phrase was intended to imply that you may be able to "time out" the session within the ODBC client
application.
But the Session Information (SI) "Auto Abort Prolonged Idle Sessions" feature only acts on those sessions which appear in the Prolonged
Idles report. In other words, it's subject to whatever Local Filter is being used to generate that report. See the "How To ..." section in
the online help.
