A change was made to send all data and let Teradata filter unused input fields. The mainframe CPU reduction of Fastload avoiding moving
record fragments around provides an elapsed time payback. I'll speak with engineering. I can imagine cases where the increased I/O is a
net loss relative to the Fastload CPU time saved. Perhaps a run time option should be provided? What do you think?
