Hello,

I'm new to this list and I have a fairly simple problem which is causing me fits.

I recently installed Windows NT on my machine, as well as a Teradata for Windows NT demo. I'm starting totally from scratch, with absolutely no knowledge of Teradata. I've read through much of the documentation.

I need to get the CREATE TABLE statement executed in Teradata. After reading, I figured I would need to login to BTEQ, which I did, then type .login; to start a Teradata session. But I was repeatedly asked for a userid and a password. Remember, this is just a demo. NCR told me to type in DBC for both. It didn't work.

I was then told by NCR to use the WINDDI program to create a table. But I've had no success with it.

Can anyone help me with this? I'd be very grateful.
