thanks for the feedback.

The incoming data comes in as a .dsv file from a third party supplier.

Some of the fields are free format but I've asked them if they can remove any of these double-quotes which is what I have had to do for now via a program.

The data does not have quote delimited text it just happens to have double-quotes from time to time.

I still think TPT should be able to process this field as it should be able to parse from one delimiter to the next and treat anything in between as pure text.
