Thanks Mike for the information, that helps a lot. I have tried SQLA 14.10.0.7 and it can do the editting as quick as we require, but we notice that it is still very slow to actually process the insert statements - over 5 hours to process the 55000 insert statements compared with the 34 minutes using version 13.11.

I tried using Studio and Studio Express but neither can handle the large volume of sql statements.
