Hi,

I am currently working on a project to migrate DB2 to TD using DataStage.

My question is -

For initial history load which option will be better -

1. Use DataStage to leverage FastLoad and extract from DB2 table and load to TD target table directly. The target table has PI defined on it.

OR

2. Create a Staging table in TD with No PI. Use DataSTage to extract from DB2 and load to the NoPI table (using FastLoad) and then use Insert/Select to move data from the Staging table to the TD Target table.

Please advise.
