Hi Forum,

I am observing the following sessionID's in my dbqlogtbl. Basically it's the same sessionID used about 8 months apart!!

     SessionID        Collecttimestamp
     1329436          3/1/2014 23:11:28:44
     1329436          10/3/2014 08:36:48:80

Based on the above data I have 3 questions on which I seek the Forum's help.

1) Can sessionID be reused in Teradata?

2) Is there a max value the sessionID attains before it starts to recycle?

3) On What conditions does the recycling occur? (can it be database restarts etc )

Any help would be immense!
