Appliances have TIWM capability with 13.10 and you have the ability to activate filters and throttle. Simply implement a throttle with a limit of 0 and delay. The set the classification criteria for Query Characteristics of DML. This will delay any user submitting a query with an Insert, Update, Delete or Select statement.
