What is the general practice in your shop about the number of roles per user?
I have been told to grant only one role per user. So far, it has been working fine. But lately there has been a situation that existing users who have a role, say, RoleA need to have the access rights of RoleB.
How do you handle this situation?
Do you add another role, ROLEB to the users? Or, do you create a new role that combine the access rights of RoleA and RoleB?
What are the pros and cons of a user having only one role versus two or more roles?
