Subj:   Running packdisk using crontab

From:   JAMES PARK

TD 14 on SLES.

When I ran below script with a crontab an output file is generated but the size has remained 0 almost 2 hours. Is this normal? Will the log data be added at the end? How can I know if packdisk is running? Thanks,

     #Packdisk script
     cat /var/opt/teradata/bteqdba/packdisk
     enable scriptmode
     scope vproc all
     showspace
     packdisk fsp=10
     y
     showspace
     scandisk
     yes
     quit

     # scheduled in crontab file
