Subj:   [3710] Insufficient memory to parse this request, during QueryRewrite phase

From:   Bakthavachalam, Roopalini

Hi Forum,

One of our development team is using SSIS ETL tool to load data from a SQL table to Teradata. The table has just 8 to 9 columns and they are trying to load just 30-130 records ,however the jobs are failing with error [3710] Insufficient memory to parse this request, during QueryRewrite phase. The user is able to load other tables without any issues. All that the job is doing is copying data from SQL server and insert to Teradata table.

I looked at the previous posts which said , to increase the MaxParseTreeSegs value form the default 2000 to higher value. However I want to be sure before I made any change to the DBS control setting. Has anyone come across this issue?

Thanks

Roopalini
