Hi,

Although your 'bigger' table is 1.5GB, in Teradata terms that is not really a 'big' table so the fact that it is being moved is not necessarily wrong.

Notice that both tables are being 'moved' - i.e. copied into spool.

What is the PI of each table ?

What sort of join is then used to join these two tables - presumably in Step 3?
