Hi Forum,

We have Access logging enabled in our Teradata box and I would like to know , if it slows down the performance of queries being run , just because the Access logging is enabled. My ETL team is ?trying to load a table using ODBC connection , which I believe does a row by row insert to the table and they are seeing slow performance. Could it be because Access logging is enabled and it checks the privileges of the user for each and every insert it does to the table?

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated.
