In Teradata , you can define up to 2048 columns for a table.

So in TPT you can define up to 2048 columns .

A maximum of 450 columns can be defined in the source table or source record is applicable only if you use the TPT wizard.

But you can also create your own TPT script manuly which will load up to 2048 columns.

I have no clue why the TPT is not loading your data. But it will load the data in to the target table which can contain more than 600 columns also.
