Subj:   Re: What does COMMIT option and TRANSACTION flag

From:   Dave Wellman

Hi,

I'm fairly certain...

Transaction Log shows whether you have used the "LOG" or "NO LOG" option for temporary tables. Given that the volatile temp table definition is never stored in the dictionary, this information effectively only applies to global temp tables.

The COMMIT option also applies to VT's and GTT's and documents what was specified for the "on commit" clause. Again, given that the volatile temp table definition is never stored in the dictionary, this information effectively only applies to global temp tables.

Cheers,

Dave
