Subj:   ARCMAIN warning with PPI tables

Can anyone advise on the warning message that comes with ARCMAIN back-ups regardless of how the source table is configured with PPI Running back-ups against specific partition ranges gives a warning meaning the process doesn't end with a clear return code:

*** Warning ARC1027:The bounding condition for PPI table mytable is not considered to be 'well-defined'. Therefore, the ALL PARTITIONS option will not be allowed when doing a restore/copy.

Restores work correctly so what is mean by 'well defined'? As far as I can see the table is partitioned correctly

regards
