Hi all,
I have a question in regards what happens to a Teradata system if a Dbaseid - the id assigned by Teradata to a identify a database, if it is a
user and the user gets dropped. We have numerous tables that show up with a creator unknown, which I am assuming is due to the user being dropped
at some stage.
What would happen if this Dbaseid gets reused for another user? Do all the tables with unknown creator pickup the new user and what would that
mean as far as access rights are concerned? When a user is dropped, all access rights are also dropped, so one would hope that they would not
reappear for the new user!
