Is it safe to put this code in my store procedure? Using the word from and inner joins

     UPDATE tblMonthly
     SET Reject = '1'
     FROM tblM M
     INNER JOIN tblMonthly E ON E.BID = M.BID WHERE CDesc = 'IOU' AND Reject <> '1'
     AND STRTDate = @STRTDate
