Hi Filipe,

Perhaps you could consider the following:

1. Are your statistics up to date?

2. Issue the DIAGNOSTICS HELPSTATS ON FOR SESSION; and then Explain your query. There may be some recommendations to collect stats on other columns. (This may have some impact in assisting the optimiser determine which of the tables is relatively small when doing a small table to large table join).
