Subj:   Re: Insufficient memory to parse during Query Rewrite

From:   Yong Boon

James,

Check with your Teradata Production DBA for the MaxParseTreeSegs setting in the Production.

Even though you increase @ your Windows XP, it'll fail when you run against the production server.

Second things, this is one of the vault to control lousy & complex query to enter into the system. Unfortunately, you can control this in the system level parameter instead of session level parameter.

Try to check back your query, if this could be done by through few tables instead of 1 big query, which might help you to solve the problem.
