Subj:   Locking Logger Impact on System

I have some questions about LOCKING LOGGER.

I only got the information below from previous posting.

Each AMP maintains a 32K buffer in which locking information is written. Once the buffers are full, new information replaces the oldest information within a given buffer.

1 - How much does this 32K buffer imapact on whole system?

ie.) It affects xx% on CPU or Memory..

ie.) A transaction will slow down by xx% compared to when LockLogger is off.

2 - And how can I tell if Locking Logger has impact on the system? I assume that impacts differ from each system , so I would like to make sure there is no impact on user transaction. (By looking at Resusage?)

If you have any experiences with Locking Logger I would appreciate your information.

Our system

6 Nodes (5500H)
40.3 TB Disk
8GB Memory/Node
V2R6.2
