Your explanation has helped me a lot. Thanks a lot. This has cleared many things.

Last question : You said data is sent to AMPs in blocks and then AMP does the work of redistributing rows to proper Amp.

I understand hashing algorithm is used to determine which Amp the row should go in.

Is there any algo that decides which amp the block should go initially OR its done in random manner?
