Hi Kumar,

You have to do only DBC copy and restore to moves all your user,roles,profiles,etc to your new system. It does not moves your actual database objects. It just moves only the data dictionary objects of the system,so you can see all the databases/users like your source system. Then you can move the objects through the BAR,etc.,

For setting up the DR site,First you have to know your SLA between the Source and Target DR site. This will give help you in deciding the statergy of syncing the objects and CDC process.

In Teradata, DR setup can be done in many ways, it depends upon the SLA between the two sites, you can syncup the data between the system using the BAR,Replications Services(goldengate),Datamover or Dual load.It will be more work than you excepted :)
