Hi Bruce,

The note about "nulls not being compressed by default" is an error in the manual. IMHO it's an incredibly badly worded piece of documentation. I've swapped a 'number of emails' with the documentation folks and engineering about this and they have finally accepted that the wording is poor. Whether of course it gets changed is another matter.

There are changes in compression in TD 13.10, but somethings don't change. If you specify "compress (1,2,3,4)" on a numeric column then NULLS will also get compressed.
