If you are unfortunate enough to encounter a view like the aforementioned

     SELECT * FROM DB.TABLE;

You can use the QUALIFIED keyword in a SHOW statement to see the real (internal) definition.

e.g.

     Show QUALIFIED select * from  dbc.tables;
