Hi James,

Some basic questions first.

1) What is the config of your system (just number of nodes, amps and machine type) ?

2) What makes you think the query is 'hung' ?

3) Use PMON or Td Mgr or Viewpoint to see if the query is being blocked.

4) Can you post an EXPLAIN of the query, and even the query itself ?

Increasing temp/spool space is unlikely to make any difference. If you ran out of either of these then the query will abort rather than hang.
