Hi,

I'm reading the "Introduction to Teradata Warehouse" Release 12.0, B035-1091-067A, March 2010.

On page 132, there is a table on the "Automatic Database Lock Levels". The last two lines I don't understand. E.g., for

     CREATE DATABASE
     DROP DATABASE
     MODIFY DATABASE

I would think that'd impose an exclusive lock on the database regardlessly. I don't understand what the "Not applicable" means for UPI/NUPI/USI access types.

Please help.
