Subj:   Re: How to import data from excel using sql assistant

From:   Christian Schiefer, makeITdone

Hi,

I would go for OLE-Load instead of SQL Assistant. Define a = ODBC-Connection to your Excel sheet and then define a job within OLE-Load -> works perfect...

If you save your Excel as a tab delimited text file, you will face ( at least I faced ) problems with some nice "soft carriage returns" which destroy the data structure.

For export: Use SQL-Assistant and save as html. You can easily load the = html to Excel afterwards.

Just my 2 cents ...
