Subj:		Using IP address from Mainframe

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to connect to Teradata from the mainframe via an IP address? We do not have mainframe channels on one of our Teradata systems and I am interested in knowing if we could logon from the mainframe via the LAN and perform a backup to the mainframe using ARCMAIN.
