I was going through the details of 5550H Server at:

www.teradata.com...b285-417ee034678f.pdf

Which says User Data Space/Node is upto 4TB. Interestingly at out shop we have 20 NODES and when I check entire space on the system:

     SELECT SUM(MaxPerm) FROM DBC.DiskSpace;          300 TB.

Am I missing anything here ?

Also, at my prior work location I noticed number of amps on the system are a multiple of Nodes, Ex: if nodes are 216, amps are 2160. But at my current location it is not. Is there any relation between number of amps and nodes on 5550H?

Same question regarding PE and NODES, how is it determined that few nodes have more PE s and other less?

Any Pointers in the direction (documentation) is highly appreciated.
