We are in process of creating tables in a new and very large database and compressing data using multi-value compression.

Here is the question :

If suppose we have 1,000,000 rows in a table and we compress one value on a CHAR(10) column which is repeated 500,000 times, and we donb t have any NULLs in that columns, what would be the savings and how we can count it?

We are on version 12.
