I see. You may try and use the suggestion in the previous posting: instead of the original Excel file save the data as TAB-separated file and
import that one. If it works then you know the issue is with the Excel formatting. I am not sure about the degree of support SQL Assistant offers
for Excel files. Import of CSV files is a more traditional way of doing this.
