Subj:   Re: mload issues with variable length records

From:   Victor Sokovin

Now I have another issue I'm getting when attempting to mload a pipe-delimited file with approx 5.3 rows:

          > UTY0806 RDBMS error, 2825: NO RECORD OF THE LAST REQUEST WAS FOUND
          > AFTER DBC ESTART
          > UTY1804 Re-starting this MultiLoad task because The RDBMS crashed.
This error will show up in the Acquisition phase, then Teradata will repeat the Initial phase, then the Acquisition phase then repeat the error, then repeat the Initial phase, and so on, indefinitely. What is causing this error?

It's a special message they send to welcome mload new users.

Of course the database has not crashed, but the message is generated anyway.

They all say that.

Victor
