     ID CHAR(10) COMPRESS (b mykeyb ) and
     ID CHAR(10) COMPRESS (b mykey     b )     -b   Please note 5 spaces.

Are these same?

What abt altering a big table for compression: - Can it be done in these cases -

-- Adding new values to already compressed column

-- Altering table to compress a column already present b to be compressed first time.
