Subj:		Read-Only Partition

Is there any way to set a Partition on a PPI table to read only. We are reviewing our current backup process and would like to ensure that Partitions older than x days have not been changed (So that we don't have to back them up). The easiest way I can think of is to set the partition to read-only. Is this possible?
