Hi Ayush,

The MonitorSession command can be run from any SQL tool so either Bteq or SQL Assistant / Queryman.

For the syntax of the command look in the "Workload Management API" manual.

The only release lock command I can think of is to release either Multiload locks (this can be run from Bteq/SQLA) or ARC locks (run using the ARC utility).
